Toshifumi Suzuki, the businessman who introduced 7-Eleven stores to Japan, has died at the age of 93.
Suzuki most recently served as an honorary adviser to the company.
He played a central role in expanding convenience stores across Japan through his work with Seven & I Holdings.
Seven-Eleven Japan has established a joint venture with Dentsu Group Inc. and CyberAgent Inc. to run digital advertising in its stores using purchase data.
