Urne releases music video for new single 'The Spirit, Alive'

London-based metal band Urne has unveiled a new music video for their single 'The Spirit, Alive,' the third track from their upcoming album Setting Fire To The Sky. The release coincides with Bonfire Night, emphasizing themes of hope and resilience. The album is slated for January 30, 2026, via Spinefarm Records.

Single and Video Release

Urne, consisting of Joe Nally on bass and vocals, Angus Neyra and Kurtis Bagley on guitars, and James Cook on drums, dropped the music video for 'The Spirit, Alive' on November 5, 2025. This track serves as the third single from their third studio album, Setting Fire To The Sky, marking the band's evolution toward an uplifting sound.

Frontman Joe Nally shared insights on the song: “We are proud to present ‘The Spirit, Alive’, the third single from our upcoming album ‘Setting Fire To The Sky’. This was the very first track we started writing for Album 3. From the beginning, we knew we wanted this record to feel uplifting, this track became a gateway to that vision. This song is about hope, the human spirit, and a fire that never goes out - what better time to release it than Bonfire night?! Listen to this loud and keep the spirit alive!!”

Artwork by New York artist Dan Zollinger contrasts the darker visuals of Urne's previous release. Nally commented: “The artwork for the last album was so dark, this time around we wanted to go in the complete opposite direction... We feel it ties in perfectly with what this album is, where we are as a band, and what is to come.”

Pre-orders are available now via Spinefarm Records.
