The second day of Virada Cultural 2026 on Sunday (24/5) drew large crowds to various stages in the São Paulo capital, with performances by Marina Sena, Seu Jorge and Thiaguinho marked by delays and rain.

At Vale do Anhangabaú, Marina Sena filled the main stage after starting about 20 minutes late, at 2:24 p.m. The singer stopped the performance more than once to call firefighters after fainting cases in the audience, while the crowd complained about water distribution.

Seu Jorge took the same stage 22 minutes late, around 4:52 p.m., and invited Marina Sena to sing “Pontos de Luz” and “Hágua” in tribute to Gal Costa. The audience sang hits like “É Isso Aí” until the end of the show, around 6:20 p.m.

At Parque do Carmo, Thiaguinho faced heavy rain right at the start of his performance at 4:30 p.m., but kept around 40 thousand people, according to the Municipal Civil Guard. The show ended on time at 6 p.m., with the crowd singing pagode hits under cell phone lights.

Other highlights included Ajulliacosta’s protest against feminicide at Palco Arouche, Sidney Magal’s closing at Freguesia do Ó and the Demônios da Garoa performance with samba classics.
