Said Sadat, 28, has been brought to Kronobergshäktet from Lebanon. He is suspected of aiding the 2020 murder at Årstabron.
Said Sadat landed in Sweden on Monday. Senior prosecutor Lisa Dos Santos confirmed that the detention decision had thereby been executed.
Sadat has been wanted since June 2021 on suspicion of aiding murder. The prosecutor stated that he had participated with others in planning and organizing the act.
The trial against the other individuals concluded earlier with life sentences for two men and 14 years in prison for a third. Dos Santos said the extradition from Lebanon had taken time due to cryptic responses.
A detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. Sadat is also suspected of particularly serious drug crime.
