Waqf property registration deadline ends in Bengal today

The deadline for registering Waqf properties on the central government's portal concludes today in West Bengal. The TMC government, after months of resistance, directed officials last week to upload details on the UMEED portal. As of Monday night, only about 10,000 out of 80,480 properties had been registered.
