The 2026 Women’s Prize for Fiction longlist, announced on March 4, includes 16 novels, with two by authors of Indian heritage: Sheena Kalayil’s The Others and Megha Majumdar’s A Guardian and a Thief. Spain-based airport operator Aena has introduced the Premio Aena de Narrativa Hispanoamericana, an annual award for the best narrative fiction work published in Spanish.
