Crystal Palace beats Newcastle 2-1 with late Mateta double

Jean-Philippe Mateta scored twice in the closing stages to give Crystal Palace a 2-1 comeback victory over Newcastle United at Selhurst Park. The win moved Palace above their opponents into 13th place in the Premier League, with both teams on 42 points. Newcastle had led through William Osula but failed to hold on.
