Colombia's Ministry of Mines and Energy has published a draft decree to overhaul the regulatory framework for the natural gas market.
Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced a new natural gas discovery in the Nile Delta with an estimated production capacity of around 50 million cubic feet per day. The discovery followed the successful drilling of the Nidoco N-2 exploratory well in the West Abu Madi area of Kafr El Sheikh governorate. The concession area is operated by Eni in partnership with BP.
