Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers threw six scoreless innings against the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday, extending MLB's longest active scoreless pitching streak to 22 2/3 innings. He also reached base safely, continuing the league's longest active on-base streak at 36 games. The performance marked Ohtani's return to two-way play in the 2026 season.
