Ukrainian MMA champion Yaroslav Amosov signs with UFC after wartime service

Yaroslav Amosov, a Ukrainian mixed martial arts champion, paused his professional career to defend his hometown of Irpin against Russian forces in 2022. The former Bellator MMA welterweight title holder recovered his championship belt during the liberation efforts. Now, four years later, he has joined the UFC, the world's leading MMA promotion.
