A-tractor day focuses on safety for young drivers

Saturday's A-tractor day aims to improve safety for young A-tractor drivers and their guardians via hands-on tests. Visitors can try the skid pan with their own vehicles or ride in a standard car. Johan Moberg of Säker Trafik Dalarna encourages wide participation.

The A-tractor day addresses safety concerns for A-tractors following several tragic accidents. Activities include spinning out, gentle crashing, and testing grip on a skid pan.

Johan Moberg of Säker Trafik Dalarna said: “We want as many as possible to join and feel what happens.” Numerous visitors are expected to arrive with their A-tractors to experience differences in speed and grip compared to regular cars.

The goal is to provide both young drivers and guardians with better awareness of risks and handling techniques.
