Adidas Originals hosted an event Wednesday night atop The Edge observation deck in Manhattan to launch its first Sport collection. Four performers in the new apparel executed an aerial dance routine more than 1,300 feet above the city.
The collection combines signature 3-Stripes designs with training-ready fabrics aimed at women seeking both style and performance. Guests viewed the pieces during a runway show that featured pole artists, acrobats and dancers before the high-altitude finale.
Olympian Anna Hall, wearing a leotard from the line, said Adidas has long supported women’s track and field and that she values the brand’s focus on the sport. Singer Coco Jones, in a track jacket, recalled the 3-Stripes as a status symbol from her high school years and noted the collection’s nostalgic appeal.
Other attendees including model Lori Harvey and reality star Ciara Miller discussed personal styling choices with the new tracksuits, tanks and cover-ups. The evening concluded with music on the 100th floor as the aerial performance continued to draw attention.
