Ann Wilson and Tripsitter announce new album Consecrated Ground

Ann Wilson and her band Tripsitter have announced their new album, Consecrated Ground, scheduled for release on Aug. 14. The lead single, “I Will Not Be Coming Back,” was set to arrive on June 26.

The album is described in a statement as a fearless collection of songs blending heavy rock, psychedelia, blues, and raw emotional storytelling.

Wilson returned to the stage in February 2025 for Heart’s Royal Flush Tour after her cancer treatment. She has also started the podcast After Dinner Thinks with Criss Cain and released her solo documentary In My Voice.

Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 with her sister Nancy, Wilson spoke to Rolling Stone in May about the documentary offering fans a view of her life beyond Heart.
