Breitling has released a new limited edition chronograph honoring cycling legend Eddy Merckx. The 525-piece run ties into the upcoming Tour de France. The watch features a yellow dial referencing the race leader's jersey.
The Top Time B01 Eddy Merckx measures 41mm and uses Breitling's in-house B01 automatic chronograph movement. This COSC-certified caliber offers a 70-hour power reserve along with a column wheel and vertical clutch.
The case back is engraved with "One of 525" to mark Merckx's career total of professional victories. His signature appears above the 6 o'clock position on the dial.
Buyers can select either a perforated black leather strap with white stitching or a steel mesh bracelet. The leather version carries a price of €7,400 while the bracelet version is listed at €7,800.
The launch coincides with the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France, which begins in the coming days. Merckx won the race five times during his career.
