BTS member Jungkook responded directly to a critic who questioned his anime knowledge after he updated his Instagram profile picture. The exchange took place via his Instagram stories following the change on June 20.
Jungkook changed his personal Instagram profile photo to characters from the Netflix animation series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on June 20. Netflix Brazil later updated its account header and description to note that Jungkook had watched the show.
The singer then shared a screenshot of a critical comment through his Instagram Stories. The message accused Jungkook of being a novice who avoided anime due to his early work schedule and suggested he leave.
Jungkook replied to the post with the question, "Who do you think you are (to say that)?" BTS is currently on its Arirang world tour, the group's first full-scale outing since completing military service.
