Cafe Steam to open fourth location near St. Mary's in Rochester

Cafe Steam, a popular local coffee shop in Rochester, Minnesota, is set to launch its fourth outlet across from St. Mary's Hospital. The grand opening is scheduled for March 16, with special promotions for early visitors. This expansion targets employees, patients, and families at the nearby medical facility.

Cafe Steam has been preparing its newest site in Rochester, Minnesota, directly across from St. Mary's Hospital. This marks the chain's fourth location in the area, taking over a space previously occupied by Caribou Coffee and situated next to the Canadian Honker restaurant.

The grand opening is planned for Monday, March 16. On that day, the cafe will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the first 50 customers receiving a free coffee. Regular hours will commence the following day, Tuesday, March 17, running from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The location will remain closed on Sundays.

A notable feature of the new outlet is a mural being created by one of Cafe Steam's baristas, with previews shared on the company's social media channels earlier this week. This addition aims to enhance the appeal for the hospital community, including staff, patients, and their families, who will now have convenient access to the coffee shop's offerings.

Cafe Steam has built a strong local following in Rochester, known for its quality brews and community presence. The expansion reflects the business's growth, with this site positioned to serve the bustling area around St. Mary's Hospital.
