Candace Cameron Bure tackles jungle Special Forces challenge

Candace Cameron Bure is trading red carpets for mud and mayhem in Malaysia. The Full House alum joins 14 other celebs for season five of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Oliver Hudson and Brandi Glanville are along for the ride.

Bure posted herself in full jungle gear on Instagram with the caption “No glitz, no glamour, all grit!! I said YES to one of the hardest challenges I’ve EVER faced!!” The 50-year-old is one of 15 stars deployed for harsh tasks like bunker searches and high-altitude drills.

Fellow contestants include Oliver Hudson, Brandi Glanville, Ruby Rose, Hannah Stocking, David Charvet and Breana Tiesi. Tiesi wrote on her own page that the experience was “by far the worst / best thing I have ever endured.”

Season four champs Shawn Johnson East and Gia Giudice shared advice focused on taking it meal by meal. The new season premieres in September.
