The Washington Capitals are organizing the Caps Care Toy Drive to support The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, which provides holiday gifts for children in need. The drive takes place on Sunday, Dec. 7, during the Capitals' home matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Capital One Arena in Arlington, Va.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys and drop them off at building entrances. In appreciation, donors will receive a limited-edition Capitals poster featuring players John Carlson, Jakob Chychrun, Alex Ovechkin, Aliaksei Protas, Dylan Strome, and Tom Wilson. Posters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, proceeds from the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation 50/50 Raffle on that night will go toward the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. Fans can buy raffle tickets online at Monumental5050.com or in-arena at Sections 106 and 120, or from roving sellers. For more details on the raffle, visit the provided link.
