Colombiamoda announces Vélez and J Balvin fashion show

Colombia's Fashion Week will include the "Artisan Gang in The City" runway show as the opening event in its official program.

Colombiamoda will take place from July 25 to 31. The opening runway is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, and will fuse design, music, performance and craftsmanship.

The collection is the fourth collaboration between the Vélez brand and artist J Balvin. It coincides with Vélez's 40th anniversary and draws inspiration from the contrast between the Antioquian mountains and the city.

The proposal reinterprets traditional elements such as cross-stitch, Arhuaco textiles, the carriel bag, ponchos, the orchid and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The staging will recreate Medellín landscapes under the theme "The muleteer and the path".
