Dominik Mysterio names adaptability as top WWE skill

Dominik Mysterio has identified being adaptable as the number one skill wrestlers need to succeed in WWE. The Judgment Day member shared the view during an appearance on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour.

Mysterio explained that the unpredictable nature of the business requires quick adjustments.

“You have an idea, and then right before you go out there, the idea changes or something gets moved, and you just have to adapt and change on the fly,” he said. Failure to adapt, he added, means “it’s gonna eat you up and spit you out.”

The revelation comes after Mysterio’s character evolved from being heavily booed to receiving cheers following his Intercontinental Championship win at WrestleMania 41. Triple H noted of the shift, “When you’re that bad, people love it. It’s kind of a good thing.”

Mysterio, who joined the Judgment Day in 2022 and currently holds the AAA Mega Championship, has drawn on his experience since debuting in the ring at SummerSlam 2020.
