Dua Lipa surprises at samba rehearsal with Sabrina Sato in Rio

British singer Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance at the Vila Isabel samba school rehearsal in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday night (19/11). Joined by celebrities, she enjoyed the samba for 15 minutes alongside Sabrina Sato, the school's drum queen. The visit comes ahead of her scheduled show in the city on Saturday.

After performing in São Paulo on Sunday (16/11), with guest appearances by Carlinhos Brown and Caetano Veloso, Dua Lipa arrived in Rio de Janeiro to enjoy the city before her Radical Optimism Tour. On Wednesday night (19/11), she made a surprise appearance at the Vila Isabel samba school's rehearsal grounds in the Zona Norte, where she timidly attempted some steps. Sabrina Sato, the school's drum queen, shared the moment with the singer, who stayed for exactly 15 minutes.

The British artist confirmed her attendance at the Fla x Flu classic, which took place the same night. Earlier in São Paulo, Dua Lipa was spotted at a bar with Shawn Mendes, Bruna Marquezine, Sasha Meneghel, Gustavo Mioto, and other celebrities, in an encounter described as surreal by a local music group. "When we arrived and saw Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes, Carlinhos Brown, Sasha Meneghel, João Pedro, Bruna Marquezine, Gustavo Mioto, and several other amazing people there, we were so happy! It was surreal! A memorable experience that will stay in our memory, truly," the group reported, having included international hits in their repertoire for the occasion.

Dua Lipa is scheduled to perform on Saturday (22/11) at the Outdoor Area of Farmasi Arena in Barra da Tijuca. Tickets are available on the Ticketmaster website starting at R$ 295.00. The visit to the rehearsal grounds highlights the artist's stamina amid her intense schedule in Brazil.
