The former Liverpool defender was sent off for a challenge on Jesus Gallardo during England's 3-2 win over Mexico. He filled in at right-back in that match.
FIFA's disciplinary committee issued the ban with no appeal option available under the tournament rules. The Football Association had considered its position on the sanction.
Quansah remains eligible for the final if England advances that far. Thomas Tuchel's side has faced ongoing issues at right-back and hopes Chelsea captain Reece James will return for Saturday's match.
