England advanced to the World Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 extra-time victory against Norway on Saturday. Captain Harry Kane said the team still has room to improve ahead of a clash with Argentina.
England booked their place in the last four after overcoming Norway in Miami. The Three Lions trailed early but equalised through Jude Bellingham before he scored the winner in extra time.
Manager Thomas Tuchel described the performance as sloppy and admitted his side got lucky. He also revealed that Declan Rice had been bedbound with illness for three days before the match and was substituted at half-time.
Kane backed Tuchel's assessment and stressed that England have shown only glimpses of their best form. The captain, who has six goals at the tournament, said the squad knows it can reach another level.
England will face Argentina in Atlanta on Wednesday.
