United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia Executive Secretary Rania Al-Mashat reaffirmed the organisation's strategic partnership with Egypt. She highlighted ongoing cooperation in advancing sustainable development, strengthening national institutions, and promoting regional integration.
Al-Mashat extended congratulations to Egypt's leadership, government, and people, wishing the country continued progress, prosperity, security, and stability.
The partnership has included initiatives such as the Social Expenditure Observatory with the Ministry of Finance, the State of Development in Egypt report, and programmes on social protection, climate change, science, technology, and innovation.
