Two days later, he recorded his fourth shutout of the season with 24 saves in an 8-0 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals, his third blank sheet in three starts against them this year. In his debut season in North America, the 24-year-old from Valašské Meziříčí, Czechia, appeared in 25 games for the Griffins during 2025-26. He finished 17-6-0 with a 1.71 goals-against average and .937 save percentage, never allowing more than three goals in any outing. Postava shared the Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award with teammate Sebastian Cossa, as the Griffins permitted the fewest goals in the league at 159. He signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings on June 10, 2025, following a league title with HC Brno in the Czech Extraliga.
