Hasbro cancels Dungeons & Dragons game by Star Wars Jedi director

Hasbro has ended its publishing deal with Giant Skull for an upcoming single-player Dungeons & Dragons action-adventure game. The project was announced roughly one year ago by the studio founded by Stig Asmussen. The cancellation comes amid broader cost-cutting measures at the company.

Hasbro canceled the publishing agreement with Giant Skull earlier this week, according to a report from Bloomberg. The studio, founded by Asmussen in 2023, had been developing the game since its announcement 351 days prior. Asmussen previously directed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor at Respawn Entertainment.
