High on Life 2 Switch 2 release delayed to July 1

Squanch Games has pushed back the Nintendo Switch 2 launch of High on Life 2 from April 20 to July 1 to deliver a higher-quality experience. The studio cancelled digital preorders while confirming shipments for physical copies in July. The developer thanked the community for its patience amid the delay.

Squanch Games announced the delay for High on Life 2, the sequel to its crude and comedic first-person shooter High on Life, in a recent blog post. The game was originally scheduled to arrive on Nintendo's Switch 2 next month, but the team opted to invest additional time in production. 'The additional elbow grease towards production will ultimately allow the studio to better meet not only our high standards for gaming, but yours as well,' the High on Life 2 team stated. This move aims to ensure the highest quality experiences on the platform. As a result, digital preorders have been cancelled, though those who purchased physical copies will still receive them, with shipments expected in July. Squanch Games expressed appreciation for the High on Life 2 community's 'patience and continued support' as it finalizes the Switch 2 version. High on Life 2 launched earlier this year on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
