More residents in Hedemora are buying recycled building materials at the Hamre Recycling Center this summer. Hedemora Energi reports higher turnover and increased visitors.
Between 300 and 600 vehicles are registered daily at the Hamre Recycling Center. An increasing number of visitors choose used materials such as tiles.
Kristina Backlund, marketing manager at Hedemora Energi, confirms the trend. She says reuse has risen during the summer.

The company wants to improve material handling to store it dry for further sale.
