The event runs until January 25, 2026, featuring 274 players from 21 countries competing for a total prize of 500,000 USD, or about Rp 8 billion, along with world ranking points.
Seventeen Indonesian players took the court on the first day, spread across qualification and the round of 32 in five categories: men's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting starts in qualification against Thailand's Kantaphon Wangcharoen, while the men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri faces Chen Zhi Ray/Lin Yu Chieh from Taipei in the main draw.
Jonatan Christie is absent, focusing on physical recovery as he previously stated to avoid injury risks. Other players like Putri Kusuma Wardani in women's singles and Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu in mixed doubles are expected to compete fiercely.
