Jack White has offered Twin Temple an opening slot at his upcoming concert in Los Angeles. The invitation follows the duo's removal from another tour over their imagery.
Jack White posted an invitation on Friday for the Los Angeles duo Twin Temple to open his show on September 29 at the Hollywood Palladium. "Twin Temple, would you like to open my show in L.A. on September 29th at the Hollywood Palladium?" he wrote. "Get in front of me Satan!"
Twin Temple had been removed earlier that week from opening dates on Charley Crockett's tour. Crockett told Rolling Stone that he thought the group was "like Black Sabbath, but they ain't. Not today, Satan." The husband-and-wife duo, Alexandra and Zachary James, said they were informed the removal was due to their "Satanic imagery."
White, who turned 51 this week, released his new album Frozen Charlotte on Friday. He is currently touring in support of the record and has two dates scheduled at the Hollywood Palladium for September 28 and 29.
