WWE legend John Cena stated that Elon Musk is the only person who could convince him to return to wrestling, but only if Musk gives up a large portion of his fortune.

Speaking at SpaceCon San Antonio earlier this month, Cena elaborated on prior comments that attempting to lure him back to the ring would amount to financial suicide.

“I think the only person that can convince me to come back given recent events would be Mr. Elon Musk,” Cena said. “He’d have to give up a whole lot of his fortune to do so. So, until he does that, I think I’m going to stay retired.”

The remarks follow Musk becoming the world’s first trillionaire this month. Cena noted he cannot speak in absolutes as he does not control the decision.

In separate comments promoting his upcoming Netflix film Little Brother, Cena also offered advice on mental health and investing, recommending books by Charlie Munger, Ben Graham, and Warren Buffett.
