Kiruna is preparing for the 2026-27 Hockeyettan campaign with a focus on strengthening key positions after finishing 17th in the northern division last season.
The club is tipped to finish in the bottom four next year and must address several roster gaps. Goaltender Dennis Törmä and defenders Willy Halmkrona and Elliot Hjorth remain under contract, while veteran Philip Kemi is retiring. The forward group includes Liam Nilsson, Hampus Hagström, and newcomers Isak and Noah Kolsbo, yet the team scored among the fewest goals in the north last season.
