Leksand signs best friends Tyler Angle and Riley McCourt

Leksand has added two Canadian players who have been close friends since childhood. Tyler Angle and Riley McCourt will play together for the first time after both agreeing to join the club this summer.

The two forwards grew up together in Canada and have remained in daily contact as adults. They had no prior knowledge that both would end up with Leksand, as McCourt signed roughly three weeks before Angle received his offer.

Angle said the decision was driven by his own career path rather than following his friend. He added that learning McCourt had already chosen Leksand made the move even more appealing.

The pair have started discussing how they might combine on the ice. Angle described McCourt as an offensive player strong with the puck and effective on the power play, noting he may need to provide defensive support at times.
