Lenovo refreshes ThinkPad lineup at MWC 2026

Lenovo has announced updates to its business-focused ThinkPad laptops and related devices at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The refreshed T-series models feature improved cameras, processors, and repairability scores. Several new and updated products, including a detachable tablet and an Android tablet, are set to launch later this year.

Lenovo unveiled enhancements to its ThinkPad lineup during Mobile World Congress, which runs from March 2 to March 5, 2026, in Barcelona. The updates target business users, emphasizing durability, performance, and versatility.

The core ThinkPad T-series receives a full refresh. Models like the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 start at $1,799 and include an optional 5MP camera supporting computer vision and vHDR, larger speakers, and a new "cosmic blue" color option on some variants. Both are rated 10/10 for repairability by iFixit and come with either Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (with Intel vPro) or AMD Ryzen AI Pro 400 Series processors.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7, priced from $1,899, is the lightest in the T-series at 2.45 pounds (1.1 kg) and shares the same processor options. A second-generation ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, starting at $1,849, weighs 3.06 pounds (1.39 kg) and includes a garaged pen stored above the screen.

Expanding the range, the ThinkPad X13 Detachable offers a Surface Pro-style design with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to 64 GB of RAM, and a 13-inch display reaching 500 nits brightness. It features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, full-sized keys with 1.5 mm travel, and a full-size ergonomic pen that charges in a keyboard slot. This model starts at $1,999.

For rugged use, the $499 ThinkPad X11 is an Android tablet powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform. It has a 10.95-inch display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution and 600 nits brightness, and is certified to MIL-STD-810H standards for durability in industrial settings.

The ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 6, from $1,754, features a 14-inch WUXGA touch display, an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor, and up to 32 GB of RAM.

Most devices, including the T14, T16, T14s, T14s 2-in-1, X11, and ThinkBook 14 2-in-1, will ship in the second quarter of 2026. The ThinkPad X13 Detachable follows in the third quarter. Further details are available on Lenovo's website.
