Lilian Garcia announces WWE NXT return

Lilian Garcia will return to WWE NXT on Tuesday for the first time in over a year. The veteran announcer shared her excitement on Instagram ahead of the show.

Garcia posted on Instagram that she is excited to be back at the Performance Center after more than a year away. "It's been over a year since I have been here at the performance center, so I am very excited to be back with all of you," she wrote.

She has made sporadic appearances for WWE since returning last year to announce Worlds Collide. Garcia regularly calls SNME shows and recently handled events during the company's trip to Europe.

One match she was set to announce is the Women's North American title bout. Layla Diggs had been scheduled as the challenger before suffering an injury at an NXT live event.
