Lisa Rinna shares revelations in new memoir

Lisa Rinna released her memoir 'You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It' on February 26, 2026, promising to address controversial topics without restraint. The book and her promotional interviews covered personal experiences, family history, and conflicts with colleagues. Rinna detailed past workplace tensions, family rumors, and recent incidents during her press tour.

Lisa Rinna, known for her role on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' launched her memoir 'You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It' on Tuesday, February 26, 2026. In an Instagram post, the 62-year-old actress wrote, “My memoire is officially OUT TODAY 💋,” adding, “And yes… I spill ALL the tea,” and noting that “no topic [was] too controversial, taboo or off-limits.”

During promotion, Rinna addressed several personal and professional matters. She criticized Bravo executive Andy Cohen for including their private text messages about her 2023 exit from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' in his book 'Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up.' Rinna described the action as “shady” and said she “gleefully” burned his book in her fireplace. On 'Watch What Happens Live' with Cohen, she remarked, “It was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames. Andy, really, [consider it] an honor.”

Reflecting on her time on 'Days of Our Lives' from 1992 to 1995, Rinna described co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly as the “biggest bully in Hollywood.” She called his behavior “horrible,” “unpredictable,” “exhausting,” and “verbally abusive,” including passive-aggressive tactics and mind games, especially during love scenes.

Rinna also clarified rumors about her husband Harry Hamlin's sexuality, stating, “Harry’s heterosexual. He is not a gay man in any way, shape or form, not that there’s anything wrong with that.” She attributed the speculation to his 1982 role as a gay character in the film 'Making Love,' which she said led to him being “blacklisted for several years afterward.”

The memoir included a story about her mother, Lois Rinna, who survived an attack by David Carpenter, known as the “Trailside Killer,” in 1960. Carpenter, her co-worker, stabbed and struck her with a hammer; a policeman intervened by shooting him. Lois spent three months in the hospital, and Carpenter served seven years before committing further murders between 1970 and 1981.

Rinna expressed negative views on former 'Real Housewives' castmates, calling Garcelle Beauvais “fake from head to toe” and a “huge disappointment,” while labeling Sutton Stracke and Denise Richards as “narcissists” and “bad dudes.” Representatives for Beauvais, Stracke, and Richards did not respond to requests for comment.

On 'Watch What Happens Live,' Rinna revealed that actors Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio had approached her daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin. She confirmed, “[It] didn’t happen, but yes [they did],” and described it as a “rite of passage” involving attention from older men.

Additionally, Rinna discussed a January 2026 incident at The Abbey in West Hollywood, California, during a 'Traitors' Season 4 promotion party, where she suspected she was drugged. Tests showed high levels of fentanyl, amphetamines, and other substances. She credited her husband for quickly removing her from the scene and noted that the matter was still under investigation.
