Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stressed the importance of comprehensive preparations before launching the second phase. He said implementation should build on lessons from the first phase to accelerate project execution and ensure facilities enter service on schedule.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom, Chairperson of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority Khaled Abdallah, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Walid Aref, and representatives of Dar Al-Handasah.

Cabinet spokesperson Mohamed El-Homsany said officials reviewed the scope, key components, and proposed timetable for the second phase. They also assessed progress on the first phase, which began in 2019 as a rural development programme focused on infrastructure and services including sanitation, healthcare, education, housing, and utilities.
