Rumors of a divorce have dominated headlines about Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali's 14-year marriage for several days. Media reports claim the couple has been living separately since the start of this year, with friends confirming the split. However, neither has officially announced a separation.

In her recent vlog, Mahhi dismissed all rumors of the divorce being finalized. She stated, "I'm reading that my divorce papers have been signed. Please show me the papers. Until we say something, no one has the right to interfere in our personal life." Mentioning her family responsibilities, Mahhi noted she has a sick mother and three children—Khushi, Rajveer, and Tara. She appealed for privacy, as the rumors are affecting the children's mental health.

On the alimony rumors, Mahhi countered: "A report claims I demanded 5 crore rupees in alimony. Who told you that? I don't even understand what alimony is." She advised women to be financially independent and affirmed that Jay remains her family.

Meanwhile, Mahhi announced her return to television after a 9-year break. She is portraying a teenager's mother in Colors TV's show 'Saher Hone Ko Hai', alongside Parth Samthaan and Rishita Rathore. In the vlog, Mahhi shared her first day of shooting and said, "This is the first day and I'm very excited to shoot again." She mentioned filming backlog scenes in Lucknow and feeling guilty about leaving her children. Jay brought her a Christian Dior lipstick as a gift from Japan, which she showcased.

The couple married in 2011. They adopted Khushi and Rajveer in 2017, and their daughter Tara was born in 2019.
