MLB Network announces extensive Winter Meetings coverage from Orlando

MLB Network will provide more than 20 hours of live coverage of the 2025 Winter Meetings starting Sunday, December 7, from Orlando, Florida. The broadcast includes announcements for the Hall of Fame Contemporary Baseball Era Committee ballot and the MLB Draft Lottery. Insiders and analysts will deliver news and rumors throughout the event.

The 2025 MLB Winter Meetings kick off this Sunday, December 7, in Orlando, Florida, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. MLB Network has scheduled over 20 hours of live programming across five days, beginning with MLB Tonight presented by CohnReznick at 7 p.m. ET.

Coverage will feature insiders Mark Feinsand, Jon Heyman, Jon Morosi, and Joel Sherman providing the latest news and rumors. On-site hosts include Greg Amsinger, Brian Kenny, Lauren Shehadi, Matt Vasgersian, and Adnan Virk, alongside former general managers Rick Hahn and Steve Phillips. Analysts such as Sean Casey, Ron Darling, Mark DeRosa, Cliff Floyd, Harold Reynolds, Xavier Scruggs, and Tom Verducci will contribute, including live interviews with front office personnel.

A highlight on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET is the exclusive announcement of the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Contemporary Baseball Era Committee ballot. The eight candidates, whose primary contributions came since 1980, are Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Carlos Delgado, Jeff Kent, Don Mattingly, Dale Murphy, Gary Sheffield, and Fernando Valenzuela. A 16-member committee will vote, with induction requiring 75 percent approval for the Class of 2026.

On Tuesday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. ET, MLB Network will air the MLB Draft Lottery Special presented by Nike, determining the first six picks for the 2026 First-Year Player Draft among non-Postseason teams. The Chicago White Sox hold the top odds at 27.7 percent, followed by the Minnesota Twins at 22.2 percent.
