A man in his 60s died after losing control of his motorcycle during an event in an industrial area in Falkenberg on Friday evening. The motorcycle continued into the crowd and injured a female spectator.
The accident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday. According to police spokesperson Jens Andersson, the rider lost control during a demonstration, was thrown off the motorcycle and seriously injured. The motorcycle then continued into the crowd and hit a woman.
The woman was flown by ambulance helicopter to hospital. Her condition remains unclear. The rider died at the scene despite care. Relatives have been notified.
The motorcycle continued into a building that caught fire. The fire was later extinguished. Police have seized the motorcycle for technical examination and are initially classifying the incident as reckless driving in traffic.
