Nara Smith dropped the heavy news on July 1 that her two-year-old daughter Whimsy Lou was diagnosed with cancer late last year. The influencer shared the update via Instagram Stories and video posts. Fans are rallying with support as the family navigates treatment.
Nara, 24, and her husband Lucky Blue Smith, 28, learned of the diagnosis after noticing something suspicious and rushing Whimsy to the ER. She recalled her pediatrician going quiet, triggering her mom intuition that it was cancer.
"There’s no easy way to say this or to talk about any of this," Nara said in the video. "But late last year, our daughter Whimsy was diagnosed with cancer." Whimsy started chemotherapy right away, which explains the influencer's reduced social media activity.
The couple shares four kids together: Whimsy, five-year-old Rumble Honey, infant Fawnie Golden, and four-year-old Slim Easy. Lucky also has a daughter, Gravity, with ex Stormi Bree. Current health details remain unclear.
