Netflix develops series based on Alix E. Harrow novel

Alix E. Harrow's award-winning novel The Everlasting is in development as a potential Netflix series. The time-loop story centers on a legendary knight and a scholar who falls in love with her centuries later.

The Everlasting, which won the Locus Award for best fantasy novel, follows Sir Una Everlasting. She helped found the country of Dominion. A scholar falls in love with her across centuries.

The project remains in early stages. It would join other Netflix book adaptations if ordered to series.

Those include The Queen's Gambit, Bridgerton and Leave the World Behind.
