Nike marks 30th anniversary of Jay-Z album with Air Force 1

Nike has created a special-edition Air Force 1 Low to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jay-Z's debut album Reasonable Doubt. The all-white sneakers surfaced recently as part of a friends-and-family package.

The design draws on the 2001 Air Force 1 shape and includes subtle references to the 1996 album. The right heel displays the Roc-A-Fella Records logo, while the opposite side features the Reasonable Doubt logo paired with the year 1996. Nike branding on the heel incorporates dots that echo the album cover graphic.

A commemorative card included with the shoes reads, “A very kind thank you for 30 years of support,” and bears Jay-Z’s name. The sneakers first appeared via social media account @kodaklens.

It remains unclear whether the model will receive a wider release. The tribute forms part of ongoing recognition of Shawn Carter’s influence on music and culture over three decades.
