Pixies have revealed plans for a seven-date U.S. tour in September to mark their 40th anniversary. The shows follow the band's summer tour in the UK and Europe. The itinerary includes festival appearances in New York and New Jersey.
Pixies are expanding their 40th anniversary festivities with seven U.S. performances scheduled for September. The tour begins on September 15 at Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, South Carolina, followed by a show on September 16 at Cape Fear Community College's Wilson Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. The band will then headline the Borderland Music Festival in East Aurora, New York, on September 19 and the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on September 20. Additional stops include Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 22; Rose Park in Columbia, Missouri, on September 23; The Bridge at Santa Fe Brewing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on September 25; and Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona, on September 26, as first reported by Pitchfork. This U.S. run comes after Pixies' previously announced summer tour, which spans the UK and Europe from May to July, featuring multiple nights at venues like York Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, and Festivalpark Werchter. The band's latest album, The Night the Zombies Came, arrived in October 2025. It marks the debut full-length with bassist Emma Richardson, who joined in 2024 following Paz Lenchantin's departure after over a decade with the group.
