Poco has launched its first phone of 2026, the M8 5G, in India. The device sports a large squircle camera module similar to the Poco X7, with a single 50-megapixel sensor on the back. It includes a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The M8 5G measures 7.35mm in thickness, and the curved screen and back panel make it feel even slimmer in the hand. The box also contains a grey TPU cover that looks premium.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The phone packs a 5,520mAh battery with support for 45W charging, and the charger is included in the box.

The Poco M8 5G starts at Rs 18,999 in India. Early buyers can grab it for Rs 15,999 with bank offers. This mid-range device offers a compelling option for users seeking an affordable 5G smartphone with solid features.
