President Prabowo Subianto met three former Thai prime ministers in Jakarta to exchange views on investment opportunities and economic development.
The meeting took place at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Thursday. It was attended by Thaksin Shinawatra, Yingluck Shinawatra, and Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Thaksin, who serves as a member of the Danantara Advisory Board, offered input on strengthening investment, asset management strategies, and long-term economic development.
President Prabowo also received the three at his private residence on Jalan Kertanegara in Jakarta on Wednesday evening, 8 July 2026. The meeting was also attended by Danantara leaders including CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, CIO Pandu Sjahrir, and COO Dony Oskaria.
Teddy explained that the meeting reflects the government's efforts to strengthen international friendship networks and open avenues for cooperation.
