Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger expressed unease after viewing recent practice footage of rookie Drew Allar. The comments came during an appearance on his podcast Tuesday.
Roethlisberger highlighted Allar's three-step drops as particularly worrisome. “When I’m watching him do three-step drops, that makes me incredibly nervous,” he said on the Footbahlin’ podcast. He suggested the footage appeared to show basic teaching rather than refinement of skills already learned in college.
