Ronnie Fieg reveals Kith x On K-Tech running sneakers

Ronnie Fieg has unveiled two new performance running sneakers, the K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2, developed in collaboration with Swiss brand On under Kith's K-Tech line. The models feature a custom CloudTech tooling system and are set for a 2026 debut. This marks Kith's deeper entry into technical running footwear design.

On February 27, 2026, Ronnie Fieg shared details of Kith's first true performance running sneakers via social media, including a preview video of the development process. The Kith x On collaboration introduces the K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2, built from the ground up with On's input on structure and performance.

Previously, Kith's involvement with On focused on highlighting existing models like the Cloudzone without technical contributions. This project shifts that dynamic, with Fieg designing the sneakers to emphasize running functionality over lifestyle aesthetics.

Both models incorporate a new CloudTech tooling system enlarged for enhanced cushioning. Initial concepts included Kith branding visible within the CloudTec midsole, but the final design places the logo on the outsole for a cleaner appearance.

The K-Tech 1 adopts a streamlined upper with a one-piece synthetic construction, minimal branding via a small Kith flag on the lateral side and a heat-pressed On logo on the medial side. In contrast, the K-Tech 2 features added paneling for depth, including heat-fused details on the collar, vamp, and heel, with materials like open-spaced mesh on the base and suede overlays around the toe.

Multiple colorways have emerged, blending neutral tones with options in green, navy, and burgundy. While official release details are pending, expectations indicate a late 2026 launch, though some reports suggest an initial rollout or drop could occur shortly after the reveal, potentially next week from the announcement date.

This partnership positions Kith as a more serious contender in performance footwear, expanding beyond its typical collaborations.
