Sean Strickland wants to fight Johnny Eblen for UFC title

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has called for a title bout against PFL fighter Johnny Eblen. Strickland said he expects Eblen to win the PFL belt before moving to the UFC.

Strickland stated that Eblen would need just one fight in the UFC before challenging for the middleweight title. He added that the outcome of such a matchup remains uncertain.

"This guy's gonna win the [PFL] belt, go to the UFC, he’s gonna get one fight and then we’re gonna fight for the belt," Strickland said. "I don’t know who’s gonna win, but we’re gonna fight."

The comments highlight Strickland's interest in facing top competition from outside the UFC organization. No official plans for a fight have been announced by either promotion.
