Standing on the Corner has revealed details for an official version of its new album titled SOTC (II). The record arrives September 11 via XL Recordings and features several guest artists.
The Brooklyn collective shared a surprise version of the album on YouTube last month. That upload included contributions from Danny Brown, Styles P, and poet Sonia Sanchez.
The new edition adds Solange as a collaborator while retaining most of the earlier guests. Additional artists on the project include the Warlockettes, Ladybug Mecca, Bubba Dupree, and Claudette Ortiz.
A single titled "Mr. Postman, Wait!" is now available. The full tracklist spans 15 songs, ending with "Go 2 Sleep Pu$$y."
An accompanying statement from the band reflects on eight years of work and addresses themes of luck and persistence.
